THIS COPYING WAS VERY COMMON PRACTICE IN JAPAN AND CHINA THROUGHOUT CHING DYNASTY AND BEFORE. THE BASE STAMP KANJI/SIX CHARACTER MARK IS OF THE XUANDE EMPEROR (1426-1435)THIS BRONZE DOSENT SEEM TO BE IN ANY WAY A MODERN MASS PRODUCED EXAMPLE FROM CHINA, WHICH ARE OFTEN FAR MORE EXPENSIVE, AND POORER QUALITY.I\'VE SEEN NO OTHER SIMILAR SIZE STANDING STATUES AVAILABLE AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE.DIMENSIONS:18 inches x 5 inches approx weight 3.8kg CONDITION: VERY GOOD.
