A rare antique “Columbian” door hardware set by Reading Hardware, circa 1897. Made of darkened cast bronze, this hardware set features large figural doorknobs with a wolf’s head. The doorplates are ornamented with a gorgeous Art Nouveau design with curling vines and a complimentary figural motif. This hardware set includes a pair of doorknobs with the connecting spindle, a lock and the matching door plates. The doorknobs measure 2-1/2\" in diameter and 2-7/8\" deep and each plate measure 6-1/4\" tall and 2-1/4\" wide. The lock has a faceplate 15/16” wide and 5-5/16” long, with an approx. 2-5/8” backset. The lock body is 3-9/16” tall and 3-1/8” deep overall.
