There isn\'t a man, woman, or childwalking this earth who hasn\'t heard of Indiana Jones, the greatest adventurerof all time. Dark Horse Comics has assembled a top-notch team of talent tocustom-fit this enigmatic character into an all-new, four-issue comic bookseries that\'s as chock-full of characterization as it is excitement!

Story/Spoilers:

In issue # 1,... Itall begins when a mysterious stranger shows up as Barnett College with a nancient key, and Dr. Jones puts down his grade book to go in search of hisformer archaeological colleague, Sophia Hapgood. Now a trendy psychic,\"Madame Sophia\" is doing very well for herself by fleecing people outof their hard-earned money. Toss in a tiny minotaur-like statuette, sprinkle ina few overzealous Nazis, and cue the music! This series is brought to life bythe excellent writing skills of William Messner-Loebs (Jonny Quest, Epicurusthe Sage), with veteran storyteller Dan (Flash Gordon) Barry providing thepencil art, and one of today\'s top inkers Karl (World\'s Finest) Kesel providingfinishes.

Next in issue # 2,...IndianaJones and his companion, Sophia Hapgood, crisscross the globe in search ofmysterious Atlantean artifacts first uncovered in a dig ten years ago. It seemsthe Nazis are also after these same artifacts, convinced they will unlock thesecret to the legendary continent. From Reykjavik to Copenhagen to Rotterdam,Paris, Geneva, Lisbon, and the Azores, then finally onto the Yucatan, Indy and Sophiemanage to stay one step ahead of their pursuers. Despite several narrowscrapes, they all arrive in Russia for a mad scramble to possess the lostdialogue of Plato, which is rumored to contain the secret to Atlantis.

Next in issue # 3,... WithPlato\'s lost Dialogue safely in their grasp, Indy and Sophia are off to Moroccowhere they are pursued by a bunch of screaming Nazis and an oily new characternamed Omar Al-Jabbar, whose favorite mode of transport is a hydrogen balloon.Indy and Sophia manage to \"liberate\" the hydrogen balloon from thefat and sleazy Al-Jabbar in order to escape --problem is, neither of them knowshow to pilot the damn thing! Eventually, of course, they get to Crete, goexploring the ruins of a labyrinth and wind up in the map room of the legendaryAtlantis! How much do you want to bet those pesky Nazis aren\'t too far behind?

Finally in issue #4,... Just as Indy and Sophie get to fabled Atlantis, they find themselves inthe clutches of those dastardly Nazis! With Indy in yet another tight fix, heturns to Sophie for some advice but unfortunately she has gone completely`round the bend, as a strange Atlantean spirit has taken control of her soul.Meanwhile, the Nazis are getting closer to reaching their goal and achievinggod-like powers! It doesn\'t get any better than this, kids!
