This is a 1911 Colt stunt pistol used in the production of the 2008 film Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. This style of gun can be seen in the film used by numerous Russians disguised as United States Army soldiers. This rubber pistol has been crafted to look exactly like a real Colt, even including manufacturer’s markings.
Stunt pistols such as these are used during filming when a real firearm is not needed as well as for background actors to fill out the number of weapons in a scene, or as holster fillers. The pistol is in good condition with some signs of light wear from use on set and measures approximately 8.5\" (22cm) long by 5\" (13) tall.
