This is the last one of these backs I have to sell. The parts to make this are no longer available! Lomography has stopped manufacturing their Belair back. When this is gone, there will no longer be any source in the world for Graflok/international mount Instax Wide backs.
This was built for the Mercury Camera project, Kickstarted in 2016. We haven\'t been able to make any more since 2017. However, we have one extra from that project, which I am selling here.
You are offerding on a custom Instax Wide back for large format 4x5 cameras, hand made in our shop. It is compatible with any 4x5 camera that uses the standard International or Graflok back. I have custom-built this from a heavily modified Lomography Belair Instant Back. It works like any other Graflok back, except that it sits 20mm farther than usual from the film plane. Used with any camera with adjustable bellows, this is not a problem: just set infinity stops 20mm farther back than usual and your rangefinder or distance scales will work perfectly. It also works perfectly with the Mercury, our custom, universal camera system, if you want an extremely light large format camera that can accept nearly any lens (see[link removed by ]). With this back, you can expose any photo as you ordinarily would, then turn the on-board crank to develop and eject it. You don\'t need any other accessories or items to shoot on the amazing Instax Wide format!
This model does not include a darkslide system. We have sold all of our darkslide models. This means that if you change lenses or remove the back in the middle of a pack of film, you will expose one frame. In practice, this isn\'t that big of a deal, but be aware that this is mostly for photographers who wish to shoot a bunch of Instax film consecutively, not for those who want to use this to proof other formats, etc.

I\'m including a printout (on black card stock) of ground glass and viewfinder masks for Graflex Pacemaker style cameras, as well as printed instructions (not pictured).
If you wish to compose and focus with ground glass, you can compose with your ordinary ground glass and then rack the front standard back 20mm to expose.
Instax Wide is a fabulous format, and now that Fuji has discontinued FP-100C, it is the best and only inexpensive option out there for large format shooters. We made and sold about 25 of these in the past, and everyone who purchased one has been ecstatically happy with it!
