The violin was extensiveplayed in the past, I assume it has a good tone when it was playable. The arching is also very flat. Very nice thin purflings and a handsomeflamed half slab cutted maple back, the ribs are of the same material. The top is made of fine grained spruce. The neck is original. Very attractive yellow varnish, very trasparent and luminous. The condition is not so bad, some cracks on the top, but not in soundpost or bassbar Position.
