Pysanka is the ancient art of writing hot melted beeswax on a real eggshell. The shell is then dipped into dye. This is done several different times until the desired design is created and completed. I was asked to create and donate an egg to help offset the cost of extremely high food prices up North. Since there are many great ways to help out a neighbour I thought I would create this special design just for them.
