Signed on the back Iron Art Copenhagen Denmark, measuring some 8 1/4 inches wide from handle to handle, 3 1/2 inches tall, very medieval looking box with molded large strap hinges and a group of figures in the front panel. The feet are button style and there is a logo impressed on the interior of the lid. This is likely to be either iron or brass plated iron, and it really does look medieval, but is likely to be mid 20th century. The hinges are in excellent condition and there is no problem with handles or feet. A lot of patina. Could use a good cleaning/polish or left as is.
