Very interesting Bedouin sword, kind of later interpretation,made by a metal-or-locksmith, or a mechanic. I believe itcan be dated to in between the World Wars, maybe from the Great Arab Revolt of 1936-1939. The blade appears to be forged from a leaf spring and is fully double edged, tapers to a point. There is a plain steel cross guard, laminated wood handle wrapped with leather cord. The sheath is more traditional, made of wooden core covered with course leather, fitted with steel fittings. The sword is pretty handy and fast. OA length is 76cm.
