A beautiful handmade Islamic calligraphy. Professionally framed.Family heirloom. Colours are perfect, these works have been safely stored together for some years in a house. One of 6 purchased by my father. Bought from the Baghdad Arts Centre, a formerly highly regarded collective.

The text and decorative borders are all hand-painted, this is not a print. I believe the script is known as Thuluth and this text is from the Qur\'anorKoran.This a traditional formal example of calligraphy by a highly regarded calligrapher called Muthana Abdul Hamid Hamad Al-Obeidi.
I will remove the calligraphy from the glass frame for postage.
