An ornate Italian figural sterling silver wine and champagne bottle caddy with a full cast figure of Bacchus complete with goblet in hand. There are two bands that hold the wine bottle in place and a hinged lever that drops down over the bottle to hold it firmly in place. The ornate base has applied vines, leaves and grapes and clusters of ornate cast decoration.Weight 36.15 troy ounces. Length 11 1/2\"; 8\" tall. Circa 1960.
