Belsnickel Santa figurine, height 10 inches.No label, but I believe he is by BETHANY LOWE.Ivory colored, vintage look but probably not too old.Sticker on reverse says VANILLA BELSNICKEL. Material unknown. I thought he was cork, but perhaps papier mache? He is lightweight, NOT resin nor ceramic.Belsnickel is from German folklore, a Santa-like fellow who carries twigs AND children\'s treats.He also figures in Pennsylvania Dutch culture.The twigs in his bundle seem short, but could easily be added to or replaced.Excellent accent piece for cozy Christmas decorating.Will be carefully wrapped and boxed for shipping.
