You are offerding on a large 10 - 1/2\" Diameter pettifor tidbit or dessert serving tray (#6086) that stands over an inch with pedestal. Sterling Silver Platter or Tray, Philadelphia PA. (Hallmark is J.E. Caldwell, and stamped \"STERLING\") This platter is circa 1860. This tray is in excellent conditon with very little wear from age; light surface scratching. This tray has been tested at our state assayer and has been positive for sterling silver.
