JAPANESE ANTIQUE 19TH CENT EARLY MEIJI PERIOD FINE QUALITY CARVED COW BONE NETSUKE, This sale is for a truly amazing Japanese antique netsuke, The subject is absolutely wonderful and rare, It shows a superbly carved street performing monkey, sitting crossed legged, all dressed up in coat and hat, while ready and waitingfor his time,Please look at the Photos very Closely to see the absolute stunning quality carved details, This Fantastic Piece was carved from only the finest antique cow bone during the 1800s, Size 4.5cm high, condition very good, but there seems to be a couple of patches of some slight old staining, upper chest area and on top of the left foot, This should not betoo hard to remove, but I have not attempted to do somyself, as I see no real need to do so. All in all this 19th Cent Early Meiji Period Netsuke is carved to the highest standard and shows a such a wonderful rare subject, This Fine quality Piece is truly beautiful and would look amazing in any Netsuke Collection orJust a FineDisplay Show Piece.
