Description:Antique Japanese Meiji period cloisonne footed covered koro vase. The decor features flowers & butterfly. The vase measures approximately 3 3/4 inchestall to the top of the knob on the lid,& 3 1/2 incheswide.The vase weighs approximately 6.2 oz. The vase is in antique estate condition as follows;THE KNOB ON THE LID IS LOOSE. THERE IS SOME WEAR ON THE BOTTOM OF THE FEET. THERE ARE SOME SMALL PITTING SPOTS, RUBBING AND WEAR CONSISTENT WITH THE AGE OF THE PIECE. ONE AREA HAS EITHER BEEN RUBBED OR POSSIBLY PAINTED, SEE PHOTO 10. THERE WAS TAPE HOLDING THE LID AND I HAVE MANAGED TO REMOVE MOST OF IT, BUT THERE MAY BE SOME REMAINS.
