Catalogue produced in conjunction with the 1973 exhibition and sale of contemporary Japanese prints, organized by the College Women\'s Association of Japan. More than 73 artists living and working in Japan created the 156 fine art prints in the CWAJ Print Show Collection. The prints, dating primarily from 1972-73, encompass a rich diversity of styles, printmaking techniques, and subject matter. Included are contemporary woodblock prints, lithographs, serigraphs, etchings, stencils, silkscreens, and intaglio prints. The CWAJ show, an annual event in Tokyo, Japan, since 1956, is a renowned venue for contemporary Japanese creative print art, known as hanga.

Binding intact (minor guttering), pages intact (pages and text block have age toning, several penned and penciled notations and circling of item numbers besides some of the images), covers have general wear (corner and edge wear, corner creasing, scuffing and general surface wear, age toning).
