This is a WW2 vintage Japanese red cross plaque dating to the early Showa era (c.1930\'s). On thisbadge, it saysSeishain (regular member)(see pictures). Made of pressed aluminum with the red cross hand filled in red enamel and the calligraphy in black. There are mounting holes on either side of the plaque. An interesting bit of WW2 Japanese history. It is oval and slightly convex (see last two pictures) with raised areas for the red cross and calligraphy.

It measures 2\" long by 1 1/4\" wide (5 x 3 cm)and is Overall in very fine condition.
