Sterling Silver Navajo Fancy Cups with Spiny Oyster

These Sterling Silver and Spiny Oyster Cups were made by a talented Navajo artist using a high level of skill in both design and jewelry construction! Jerry Begay was born on May 13, 1958 in the Chinle, Arizona area. He spent 6 years as a US Marine and has been making jewelry since the 1970\'s. He worked at Rocking Horse Ranch and had anotorietyfor the jewelry boxes that he made. From the \"JB\" Hallmark, we can assume that he made this before he married his wife Wilma and changed their jewelry mark.

These are made for a fairly thickgaugeSterling Silver and have some substance to them. They are also stamped \"Sterling\" and are guaranteed to be Sterling Silver. They have a moderate tarnish on them. The Cups looks as they should for havingbeen used very lightly for perhaps several decades by a carefulowner. There are no brakes,cracks, chips, noticeable scratches, etc. they look like they were lined with what looks like a thin Gold Plated surface.The 10 Spiny Oyster are all fine.
