Own a piece of history! Amazing autograph given on the occasion of the birth of President-elect John F. Kennedy\'s first son, John Jr, also known as John John. My mother was in the hospital witnessing the birth of her aunt\'s child when she met Kennedy, who was warm and kind, as per her recollections of the evening. The story behind the autograph was also written down that night and is included in this sale, as is the pencil JFK used. The story is as follows:President-elect John F. Kennedy\'s signature gotten on 3rd floor of Georgetown Hospital on the occasion of birth of his first son. November 25, 1960 (Friday) at approx. 8:50 p.m. He wrote my autograph and about 2 or 3 others with my pencil. He sort of asked if he could use my pencil for the others and I said \"Sure\". I also shook his hand. Mom did too. She told him she had a new granddaughter today; he asked if it was her first, she said no, her eleventh, he said \"Isn\'t that fine.\" (or something or other). Sue\'s baby was born. He and Mrs. Kennedy sent a bouquet of flowers on stand to each mother whose baby was born that day. He was so sincere, warm, and friendly.
