James Weatherby of Weatherbys Stud Book and Racing Calendar, Northamptonshire, England, was a horseman and soliciter (attorney-at-law). He is shown here in his typical top hat and coattails.

This authentic 1892 steel engraving was created for an article in Baily\'s Magazine of Sports and Pastimes. Baily\'s was a British periodical dedicated to recreation, hunting, horsemanship, and competition sporting events of Great Britain during the Victorian era.

Condition: The printed area is clean and flat with no marks. Light aging throughout, minor imperfections and slight darkening to the edges.
