DESCRIPTION: Beautiful Vintage Japan Blue Green Enameled Brass Vase with Engraved and Inlaid Cranes in Gold, Silver and other metals. The enamel is a dark blue with green splattered on top. The Cranes are engraved and infilled with mixed metals at the same level as the enamel. Has a great Mid Century Modern style. Great color and textural interest. See the photos.
MARKINGS: Has a small mark engraved on the bottom. See the photos.
AGE: Circa 1950s, 1960s.
ORIGIN: Japan
DIMENSIONS: Approx. 9.9” Tall X 7.25” Diameter at the Widest.
CONDITION: The Brass vessel is in Very Good previously owned vintage condition. However, the enamel has a lot of scratches and some scuffing. A few small areas go down to the metal. The foot has the outer rim exposed. I have highlighted the most noticeable ones. There are some marks and tarnish on the metal cranes. I try to be thorough, but there may be something else that I have missed. See the photos.
