This is hand crafted Meiji period silver.

Classic form.

Adorned with hand carved bamboo leaf and stalk rising skyward. Dozens of razor tip bamboo leaves. The thick bamboo stalk notched and rough hewn surface as real.

Set against rich hand hammered surfaces.

Never monogrammed.

Signed in Japanese characters and also stamped Sterling.

Japanese cup is 4 1/4 inches saucer 4 1/2 set weighs 7 standard ounces.

In fine condition. Rich, lustreous sterling patina throughout. The brilliant leaf and floral retain their original crisp, vibrant hand chased detail. The cup with three soft bumps, no splits to outer floral decorated surface.
