Lovely Japanese Redware vase from Tokoname, circa 19th century.
Finely decorated with traditional 3 toed Dragons in clouds, this vase is in very nice condition except for a couple of small chips to the rim (the chips are very smooth and pose no hazard or need for restoration). The vase is 24cm high by around 12 or 13cm at the widest across the shoulder.This is unsigned but representative of the high quality earthenware the Tokoname kiln became famous for at the end of the Edo (late 19th century)period.Colour may vary from images, dependant on screen settings, etc, but images 9, to 11 are the truest to the actual colour.
