i obtained this from an estate sale inIdaho.gold washed fittings painted tsuba (guard).i believe the blade retention button is silveri was told the tang read kanemori and made in 1943the sleeve cap is loose on the scabbard and there is some minor damage to where it connects to the scabbard which is a laquered wood.handle is of black rayskin. very nice sarute.no anchor mark but a seki stamp on tangvery nice sword geometry, sword temper linevisible.some dark haze spots on blade most likely from improper handling. maybe could use some touch up polish.nice and tight intact braiding on handle unmolested straight out of a veterans closet stored under my bed for a few yearsa nice addition to your collection..
