Hello, I have for sale a piece of Authentic Japanese silk kimono fabricThis fabric is a beautiful Medium weight Lightly Glossy Rinzu Which is a Type of Japanese Brocade with small Cherry Blossom, Maple leaves, Mandarin Oranges, and Pine Trees woven into the silk in Ivory. Dyed over the top in are Snow Crystals containing Chrysanthemum, Cherry Blossom Maple Leaves and other Japanese Designs. On top this the silk is highlighted in Gold coloured Dyes. It`s dimensions are 40inches by 14.5 inches (101cm x 37cm)This fabric was intended for use in kimono however it has not been completed, as a consequence there are tiny stitch holes at the margins where I have unpicked it.This fabric is in Excellent vintage condition.Also please note I have not ironed this piece of silk.
