Here\'s a massive book printed in germany by the Holocaust survivors in the DPcamps. The name of the book is Ta\'amay HaMinhagim Umekoray HaDinim, ie The Reasons behind Jewish customs and sources for the Laws.

The book was initially printed in the 1920\'s and here under the US Army who administered the maintenance of the camps after the war was reprinted. There\'s no date of the printing or the place where it was printed but like so many volumes that were printed by the survivors it has the plain black cover and style of the dp camps.

This book is massive in that it printed all 4 parts in one volume. There are more than 800 pages in this volume and remarkably in ver good condition. Pages are intact, original covers, minor scuffing to corners, no writing inside. A true piece of history which is fast disappeearing and not found anywhere!
