Old Hebrew & German Book 1827 RODELHEIMMahzor holiday of Sukkot and sit inside it.German edition of 1827 of Machzor (Mahzor) jewish book of prayers for holidays cared by Wolf Heidenheim (1757-1832) german grammarian. Heidenheim dedicated his life to the study of jewish grammar in particularly of Masorah. In 1800 in agreement with the editor Roedelheim he began the german translation written in hebraic carachters of Mahzor including a hebraic commentary. He studied many ancient books to obtain the most pure and faithful translation also obtaining help by his friends Wolf Breidenbach and Baer Bing. The rabbis of that time approved the work giving his contribute to notes and comments. Numbering in recto.
