Up for sale is this special complete Ashcenazi Torah scroll.

A original authentic peice of Jewish history!

This Torah was written before WW2, and was donated on 1936.

What is so special about it is that it was saved in perfect condition, with the very fancy hand made mantle and with the Atzei Chaim both with the same names and years on them.

This Torah was donated (1936) by Mr. Leopold Brunschwig (Yehudah Lev), In memory of his dear wife Hélène Hinda Brunschwig (Blumwho pased a year earlier. they were from the Elsace erea in France. This erea had a big Jewish population for hundrads of years.Rash\"i and many Baley Tosfot were from there.

Mr. Brunschwig was a wealthy respectfull man, father to 7 children and passes under the Vichi goverment during the Shoah.

on the Atzei Chaim there is a dedication written by the Sofer of this Torah, with his name on it, the donors name and the name of the village they were from \"Altkirch\"

as i said, it is rare to find a complete Torah from before the Shoah with so much details,names, dates and places on it. all original and all matching each other.

The Klaf is in great condition, Handwriting is very nice. some letters are fadded, sold as is.
