This Christmas ornament, which was introduced in January 2008, is from the Jim Shore Heartwood Creek line and depicts the nativity scene on the 5-pointed star shape.

The nativity scene includes the Baby Jesus, Joseph and Mary, three kings/wisemen, two shepherds, and multiple sheep with an angel and the star of Bethlehem overlooking the scene.

The ornament is made of stone resin to resemble handcarved wood, and the figures on the star were hand-painted (so you can expect some unique variations of color).

The bottom of the ornament includes a red and white quilt-like pattern.
