The books measure 9\"X5\", the pagination iis, vol. i: frontispiece, xvi + 385 pages. Vol. ii: iv + 427 + i pages. There are some illustrations of coins in the text. The ESTC notes that this 2 volume set is a reprint of the 1st volume of the quarto edition of 1771 and covers the Roman and Romano-British eras, no more were published in this edition, it is the second edition complete.

CONDITION

The volumes are bound inprinter\'s boards, there is some wear and some staining, the boards are well retained. There is some light foxing throughout, all is well bound class=western style=\"MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0cm\" align=left>
