Here she is... precious little Missy; who happens to be one of the first 9 dolls ever designed by the Jonathon & David Co. She is a 1st edition in the Jonathon & David Version. Later the Precious Moments Co. created a similar version in \'88 - \'89. The number for this special edition -D008- is on her hand tag and also printed onto the tag sewn in her dress. This doll was available in 1985 and was retired in 1988. On the secondary market she sells for $295.00. On her original hand tag is the story of how bible students worked on her production to earn money toward an education in the ministry. Our Missy is wearing her original outfit of blue satin, white pinafore overlay, and white bloomers. Her hair is still perfectly pulled up in pigtails, tied with pink ribbons which match the one on her pinafore. Pearl-like buttons adorn her attached resin shoes. She even has her original box, but it is in fair condition due to tape residue and writing on the label, please see photo.
