Here we have aquite exceptionaland quite lovelysolid silver teapot ofterrific gauge and weight for its size.Hallmarksare to base ofbody,the maker\'s mark is for silversmithJonathan Hayne-i have never seen his mark on a teapot before.

Assayed in London anddated 1808 (year letter N).

Marked to handle and to lid too.

It sits on fourball feet.

This lovely item is in itself awonderfulpiece of grandGeorgiansilver.

Thediameter of the pot is large at 10.75 inches and its height 6.25 inches.

Thislovely pot isofexceptional quality andis a mostdelightfulpiece oftable silver.

It is unengravedto both sides and its capacity is plentiful.

Itsweightisa sublime 655 grams (21.06 troy ounces) and the overall condition isvery good indeed. This splendid pot still has plenty of life left in it yet.All it needs is to be used!
