Judaica , 15th Century ( 1449 ) Pewter Passover Seder Plate , Amazing

UNBELIEVABLE !!!

THE EARLIEST \ OLDEST Passover PLATE KNOWN !!!

ON THEISRAELMUSEUM COLLECTION THERE IS AN Passover HAGGADAH , CALLED

THE FIRST NUREMBERG HAGGADAH .

ON ONE OF THE HAGGADAH PAGES THERE IS AN ILLUSTRATION.

( SEE MAINPICTURE ) .

THIS HAGGADAH WAS ORDEREDFROMTHE WELL KNOWN 15TH CENTURY JEWISH SCRIBER

YOEL BEN SIMEONBY NATAN BEN SHLOMO .

AS IT IS WELL KNOWN,SCRIBERS AT THAT TIME COPIED THE TEXT FROM AN EARLIEST

HAGGADAH .

THIS HAGGADAH IS THOUGHT TO BE THE FIRST ONE MADE BY YOEL BEN SIMOEN ,

THEREFORE,IT IS VERY HARD TO SAY WHICH ILLUSTRATIONS ARE HIS IDEA \ DESIGNAND

WHICH ONES HE COPIED FROM AN EARLIEST HAGGADAH .

ONE THING IS CLEAR. THE DESIGN STYLE OF THE MAN WITH THE STICKDOES NOTMATCH

TO THE DESIGN STYLE OF THE OTHER FIGURES ON THAT PAGE ( HIS HAIR , HIS CLOTHES ,

AND NO HAT !!! ) .

THIS HAGGADAH WAS SOLDBY SOTHEBY'S ISRAELFOR1,017,750 $ !!!

THIS PLATEIS THE OLDEST Passover PLATE KNOWN , BUT THERE ISANOTHER GREAT

STORY BEHIND OFIT .

THE PLATEWASOWNED BY A JEWISH FAMILY THATON THE 17TH CENTURY (AROUND 1666 )

WERE PROBABLY ADHERENTS ( believers ) OF THE FALSE MESSIAHSHABTAI TZVI, BUT

WHEN SHABTAI TZVI CONVERTED TO ISLAMTHEY HAVE DONE WHAT ALL THE JEWISH HAVE

DONE,DESTROYED AND ERASED EVERYTHING THAT REMINDS THE NAME SHABTAI TZVI .

THERFORE YOU CAN SEE THAT THE DEER ON THE PLATE WAS COVERED ( DEER=TZVI=צבי ).

THE WELL KNOWN , ONE OF THE BIGGEST JUDAICA COLLECTORSIN THE WORLD

MR. YITZHAK EINHORN, ONHIS COMPREHENSIVE ARTICLE , 3 SABBATEANPLATES , THAT

WAS WRITTEN IN HEBREW AND WAS PUBLISHED ON THE MAGAZINE " ARTICLE " ( מאמרים ) ,

DESCRIBED AND EXPLAINEDTHE ISSUE VERY WELL , INCLUDES PHOTOS .

YOU CAN READ THE ARTICLE IN HEBREW ON THAT LINK :

A GREAT PIECE OF HISTORY !!!

THE PLATE IS 22 C"M IN DIAMETER, MADE OUT OF PEWTER .

ON THE BACK SIDE THERE IS A HALLMARK OF A WOMAN WITH WHAT LOOK'S LIKE A

SHAWL OVER HER HEAD ( PICTURE6 ) .

THIS HALLMARK IS THE ULTIMATE PROOF THAT THIS PLATEWAS PRODUCED

AT THESAME TIME WITH THE HAGGADAH , MEANING AROUNDTHE YEAR 1450 !!!

1.THIS HALLMARK DOESN'T APPEAR ON ERWIN HINTZE CATALOG !!!

ERWIN HINTZE CATALOG IDENTIFIES AND DATING GERMAN PEWTER HALLMARKS

ONLY FROM 1500 !!! . THERE ARE MANY HALLMARKS ON THAT CATALOGWHICH ARE

SIMILAR TO THE HALLMARK THAT IS ON MY PLATE , BUT NONE OF THEM IS NOT

IDENTICAL ASREQUIRED !!!NOT EVEN CLOSE !!!

2. ON THE ROTHSCHILD'S HAGGADAH FROM 1450 , WHICH WAS ILLUSTRATED BY

THE SAME SCRIBER , YOEL BEN SIMEON , AND WHICH IS ON THE COLLECTION

OF THE NATIONAL LIBRARY IN JERUSALEM , THERE IS AN ILLUSTRATION WHICH IS

SIMILAR TO THE HALLMARK THAT IS ON MY PLATE !!!! ( SEE PICTURE 10 ) .

AMAZING DISCOVERY !!!

SHIPPING ONLY BY EMS , DOOR TO DOOR ,INCLUDES FULL INSURANCE.

THANK YOU
