Rita Sadovski was born in 1966 in Moscow. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts with a Master of Arts degree. In 1993 Rita moved to Israel where she lived in the Shomron for many years. She now resides in the city of Modiin. In Israel Rita worked as a book designer and as a fine arts teacher. For over 15 years Rita has specialized in Judaica creating more than 20 Megillot (Scrolls), 3 Ketubot (Marriage Contracts) and over 70 miniatures including Blessings for sons and daughters, homes and businesses and illustrated passages from the Tanakh. The original miniatures are watercolors on paper or parchment. Many are decorated with paper cuts. Rita\'s works display her love and deep understanding of nature and the connection of the People of Israel to the Land of Israel and to Jerusalem. Her works are part of private collections all over the world.
