JUDEO ARABIC TUNIS ITALY 1948 HAGGADAH WOODCUTS JEWISH Woodcut Arab Hagada Pesah

This wonderfully illustrated Haggada was printed in Italy in 1948 by Rabbi Eliyahu Gigi. He claims in the title page that this is the first time that a Passover haggada was published with a Judeo-Arabic translation. (Not sure if this is true).

In any case, in these 88 pages full of illustrations which are NOT original to this Hagada (as these were first used as woodcuts about 100 years previous to this), the author/editor certainly does a wonderful translation. Has some wine stains, a most gorgeous Haggada!
