Foryour consideration is a pair of unusual old lamps I have little knowledge inthis area, so I must leave it up to the more knowledgeable to decide age, name,style, origin and the like. They are shaped like Torah scrolls, but I do not know if I have that correct, just a guess. They sold at sale as 1890s or early 20thcentury and were rewired later. I believe the marble bases are new additions,but not sure. I am also unsure about material, there is some wood on them. Theparts that look like an old wood frame remind me of gesso over wood, but may bethe ornate stuff is another material. The top crown pops off and the cylinderlooking things come off. They are surrounded by a material that is meshlooking. Looks like real thing copper wire around the cylinder looking pieces.The gesso over wood looking stuff has cracks just like you would see on a gessoover wood frame. The marble bases have glass marbles for feet and each base ismissing one marble

Condition: Both lamps work. It is difficult to describe condition other than perhaps both need cleaned. There is a hairline crack in the gesso (or whatever else it is) on one lamp directly underneath the part that holds the electric bulb.

RETURNS: Returns accepted provided I have missed something significant when describing condition. Item must be returned in the same condition as sent.
