For your consideration is a Cookie Jug. It was manufactured by Western Stoneware of Monmouth, Illinois. I have it in my head that it was manufactured during the middle 1980s, but I can find 0 documentation to prove or disprove that, so if anyone knows for sure, please inform me. It looks like a one gallon shoulder jug with an embossed design on the brown. On this cookie jug, the light colored bottom part, is a shade of yellow with the words Cookie Jug being brown and wrote in cursive. Th embossed brown part lifts off. On the bottom is the outline of a Maple leaf. In the Maple leaf are the words: MONMOUTH ILL USA. It has a total height of approximately 10 1/2\". The bottom is 7 1/4\" in diameter. This cookie jug is an old item that was used. It has 0 cracks and 0 chips. It is ready to use or display. Please, carefully examine the pictures, as the pictures are part of the description.
