Vintage Juliana \"Mardi Gras\" Topaz, Olivine Green, and Orange Rhinestone and Crystal and Metal Bead Demi Parure Necklace and Earrings

Very pretty Juliana (D and E) demi parure of necklace and earrings done with a base of topaz,, olivine green and orange (sun) rhinestones accented with an overlay of dangling crystal and filigree metal beads. This design is often called the mardi gras set. The rhinestones and metal are in great shape. . The necklace measures 16 1/2 inches long with an added extender of another 4 inches in length. It can be removed if desired it has a center drop of 3 3/4 inches. The earrings measure 2 inches and are ear climber style. This set is in really good shape for this design as often the metal beads (which really are metalized plastic, not real metal) are missing there metal coating and now look black, and many people think it should look that way, and has even be pictured in books that way. However this is incorrect. There is a very small amount of metal coating lost on a few of the beads, but it is very minor.

This demi is a book piece being pictured in this color coloration in the book Juliana Jewelry Reference on page 28.
