Here is a pair of Holt-Howard candlestick holders with a copyright date of 1959. They appear to be made of bisque? or unfinished porcelain with applied holly leaves & berries that are painted glossy green & red, respectively. A green \"swirly\" line design, painted directly on the bisque, extends up & to the side of each applied decoration.Each holder measures approximately 2 3/4\" in diameter, & can accommodate about a 1\" candle. Some paint loss & general wear consistent with age & use are found on these pieces (most notably on their bottoms). It is difficult to determine if their finish is uneven, or, if there are some \"scrapes\" or \"dents\" on them. Either way, they are \"noticeable\" only if inspecting them very closely.
