About his early Sculptures wrote Dr. Haim Gamzu Mamager of Tel-Aviv Museum of art
in his 1957 book \"Painting and Sculpture in Israel\":
\"Special Pacific smells spicywith perfumes ofdistant islandsof Polynesia,
and something of the mystery of Negro masks - is in the works of the sculptor Kosso Elul\".
