Here is an unusual record, with a paper label on the front that reads \"Columbia Records Demonstration Not For Sale\", JZ 35310. The back says \"For Promotion Only. Ownership Reserved by CBS. Sale is Unlawful\". Also on the back is \"1978 CBS Inc\"and \"1978 Monument Record Corp. Manufactured by Columbia Records\". I don\'t know how it ended up in this lot of records that a friend gave me.
There is also a note from Kris Kristofferson to his people, as follows: \"I\'m proud of this one. Special thanks to Stephen Bruton and Mike Utley for their time and imagination (we wrote six of the songs together and worked out all of this music) and to the rest of the band--Billy Swan, Terry Paul, Sammy Creason, Donnie Fritts, Jerry McGee, and Dennis Belfield--for playing and singing so pretty. Also to David and Kent and Peggy in the studio. I think we\'re getting there, boys. (Get ready to beam us up, Scotty.) Signed Your Captain\"

I have tested it, and it plays well. You can hear all the words. There is some background noise. I would rate it very good. The pictures show you that the cover is well-used. There is a name written on it in ink. Have to rate it good. The inner sleeve is excellent, and it has all the words to all the songs printed on it. The vinyl is shiny, not dull.
