For the angel lover! Here is an adorable vintage wooden wood Erzgebirge Germany KWO miniature Christmas figure that depicts a musician angel playing a mandolin or lute. Although these are still being made, this is an older, vintage one. I believe the newer version has larger wings with white stars on them. Based on the other items in this lot, I think she is from the 1950\'s-1960\'s. She is hand painted, and has a daisy garland in her hair and blue wings. It stands just about 1 3/4\" tall. This is from a recent order I received from Germany, but it is not labelled or marked. She is in very nice vintage condition with a tiny bit of paint loss/crazing and color rubs & manufacture imperfections. Most of the paint loss and chipping is on her light blue wings. Very typical of these older German wooden angels, as the enamel paint does not stick well to the wings over time. I think they could easily be touched up. Also a tiny bit of chipping on one shoe tip. Love the little details!
