Here is a chair by Kai Kristiansen chair, and probably made by Jorg Stole or France and Sons.
Other dealers say its in the manner of Kai Kristiansen for Jorge Stolefabrik, Denmark, c. 1960s
It could be made by KORUP STOLEFABRIK or Schou or Skovmand Andersen ???
I am not 100 percent sure of the maker, correct me if you can.
Cracking the Danish code is exhausting...
I have also seen a similar chair by HW Klein for NA Jørgensens Møbelfabrik ( Bramin ).Its known as a dining chair, and or a desk chair.
The frame is teak.
Its as found with the original upholstery, with stains, that may come out?
This chair remains in good to great shape.About the designer
Kai Kristiansen studied at Det Danske Kongelige Kunstakaemi in Copenhagen where he finished his apprenticeship in 1948.
In 1955 he created models for manufacturers Fritz Hansen, Kjærsgaard or Tarm og Feldballe.
His design is characterized by clean lines and the intensive use of teak and rosewood.
His best-known creations are the chair #42 and his wall units.Condition items to report
Very good, but the original material is faded, and stained.
You will likely need to recover it in your material.
I call the color a tan woven cloth material, probably a thin wool?
Tight glue joints everywhere, the frame is tight and not wobbly.
Some scuffs to the legs, and one small ding, see all my pictures.Dimensions in inches
30 tall x 18.5 wide x 20.5 deep overall
Seat pad is 17 deep x 17 wide
Seat height is 17.5 rear and 18.5 at the front Shipping

Kai Kristiansen was born in 1929 and plied his trade in the Golden age of mid-century modernism. He trained at Det Kongelige Danske Kunstakaemi in Copenhagen, and worked under fellow famed furniture designer Kaare Klint until 1950 as a journeyman cabinetmaker before setting up a design workshop of his own in 1955. Clean-lined teak and rosewood pieces—chairs, desks, tables, and sideboards—characterize his collection, and over the course of his career he collaborated with a wide range of manufacturers and organized regional and Scandinavian furniture fairs in the late 1960s.
