Up for sale is a neat old ceramic yarn or string holder. It has a pair of scissors that goes in a hole in the kangaroos nose, so that they resemble eyeglasses. The Kangaroo is knitting a sock, and has a large ball of yarn in her pouch. The string or yarn exits the holder throughaholeat the base of the sock she is knitting. It is painted in with nice multi color flowers, and multicolor yarn. I do not find a date or artists name on this item, but would guess it to be from the 70\'s. It will ship out with the scissors and heavy string that is pictured. The kangaroo stands about 7 inches tall, and 4 inches across at the bottom.

As with any usedand hand crafted item, there are some imperfections. I have lightly cleaned it, but did not get very aggressive, so that I do not damage the paint. It still could use a good cleaning. It has a tacky feel and looks a little soiled.It could be some sort of a clear coat that is coming off.
