A Kate Greenaway type child is seated on an intricatelydecorated chair with a matching base and napkin ring.

It was made by the Middletown Plate Company and is marked with the pattern number 98.

It\'s pictured in \"The Figural Napkin Rings Collectors Identification and Value Guide\" written by Gottschalk and Whitson on page 207, plate #507.

It\'s in excellent condition with no damage or repairs. The silver plating is exceptional for its age - c1880.
