Kay ET200 Vintage Electric Guitar by Teisco. Mid to Late 60\'s. Attic find, complete guitar with some nicks,scratches, and some pitting/rust on the hardware. I changed the strings and plugged it in. Guitar stays in tune and the pick ups appear to work fine, as does the volume and tone knob. Switch selectors don\'t seem to work, but I\'m sure if you loosened the pick guard assembly, it probably needs a quick solder or cleaning as the guitar had been sitting in an attic for over 40 years. The neck looks straight and has a small sliver where it attaches to the body missing(see photos) as well as a small crack in the body at the same point, though it appears to be solid and doesn\'t affect anything. Original strap buttons as well as original tremolo arm and spring are intact and work, which is apparently is rare amongst these guitars. I am not a vintage Taiwan/Japanese guitar person so I am not sure how this instrument is suppose to sound or play. Once it has been set up, it should play great. The Kay body badge is missing but the rear one is intact. The original owner I bought it from said her son played with it for a few weeks, then put it up in the attic where it sat for the past half a century or so. Ships with a Fender gig bag.
