Keith Haring Pop Shop Street Poster - 1985Original lithograph on paper on a linen backing.Repaired and backed by a paper conservator,who loved it and commented upon receiving it, \"It\'s not so bad.\"The studio has done a fantastic job, as now it is a beautiful restored posterin remarkable condition. The Neon Orange on Black& White border make this poster POP!!The original poster had a tiny hole in the numeral \"1\" of the 219 phone number,and some edges which weren\'t flat. The restoration includes filling inthe tiny hole and giving texture to the entire poster through the linen backing,where the outer black edge now is sharp and clean with some filling inas required. The over-sized backing gives your framer room to manipulate it.This poster is READY TO GO to the framer, and be a part of your life. Interestingly, this poster has a NYC provenance of having been givenby Keith Haring to Sean Kalish, his young friend and artistic collaborator. The last picture shows the poster in pre-conserved condition, above aninscribed and self portrait sketch, copy of \"8 BALL\" by Keith Haring which is not a part of this sale.The first 5 pictures were taken Sat. 7/30/16,and show the restored picture.The next 4 pictures were taken at the graphics studio in July,and the last 3 pictures show the poster in it\'soriginalcondition.
