This is a fantastic old NativeAmerican bangle bracelet by Navajo Keith James.

The solid sterling silver bracelethas one peyote flower on each side surrounded by leaves

scrollswith raised beads. The entire bracelet is covered with this detailed

hand-made art and it\'s bound by two thick edges of sterling.

Size 8. It\'s just over1/2 inch wide. The bracelet weighs 38.7 grams.

The inside is marked STERLING ~ K ~which is the hallmark of Keith James.

The peyote flower is symbolic ofspiritual connection and medicinal powers.

Native Americans have used peyotefor at least 5,500 years.

The bracelet is a rare bangle. It\'svery beautiful with its ornate hand work. Lovely patina as found. You can polish it ifthat\'s your preference. Polished or not, this is one fine Navajo bracelet inexcellent vintage condition. Circa 1960s.
