First Edition, First printing book and dust jacket of the Rackham illustrated edition,published by Methuen, London in 1950.Original green cloth, gilt titled to spine, 178 printed pages complete with the 12 wonderful full-page colour illustrations.
Book Condition: Slightly bumped to the spine ends and some fore edge foxing, otherwise tidy with no inscriptions, no tears and no loose or missing pages.
Dust Jacket Condition: The dust jacket has chips and tears as shown in the photos, but it comes in a loose fitting protective sleeve so it presents well. Not price clipped and correctly priced 21/-net to the inside flap. The dust jacket rarely turns up in tidy condition because it was printed on such thin paper.
