The Kiev Psalter , written in Russian, Read English summary in pics. both volumes are written in Old Church Slavonic, also known as Old Church Slavic (OCS) which was the first Slavic literary language. It played an important role in the history of the Slavic languages and served as a basis and model for later Church Slavonic traditions. Spyridon is attributed for being the scribe.
